Thames Valley IoT Meetup

On Wednesday evening at Green Park in Reading, the Thames Valley IoT Meetup convened, to listen to a variety of speakers in the field of IoT, Piers Corfield (Dashboard’s CEO) amongst them.

The event ( https://www.meetup.com/Internet-of-Things-Thames-Valley/ ) was very well attended with excellent presentations ranging from Drayton heating controls on their business transformation to smart connected devices, a presentation on IP from a leading expert in the field and Vodafone who presented on the status of their Narrow Band IoT technology (now available in 8 countries with UK due to be activated in the first half of 2018) which is revolutionising IoT connectivity options.

Piers Corfield spoke on Dashboard’s solution for intelligent pipelines (spanning oil, gas and water) and the digital twinning project in which the company is also involved, whose principal focus is wind turbines.

As the IoT market burgeons, it is a great pleasure for Dashboard to share our own journey and to very much be involved in the conversation and debate.
