A look back at 2022 and ahead to 2023
As the year draws to a close, we are looking back at what Klarian has achieved in the past year and what we’re looking forward to in 2023.
2022 was a significant year for Klarian, not only did we successfully perform our first field trial, but we also rebranded and announced a strategic technology agreement. 2023 is shaping up to be even better as Klarian grows and develops.
Looking back on 2022
2022 was a successful year for the team. Here are three big milestones which offer just a snapshot into our achievements this year.
Our First Successful Field Trial
In June, we announced that we had successfully conducted our first field trial. The field trial was performed on an aviation fuel pipeline that supplies Manchester airport in the UK. We conducted the trial in partnership with Penspen, global energy consultants, who operate the MJL. The field trial tested the whole breadth of our products, from our prototype field equipment to the software platform.
The trial gave us an abundance of experience and insight which our team used to refine our products to maximise the value we can deliver to our customers.

Rebrand
Good brands are not afraid to evolve and change, so we made the daring decision to undertake a complete business rebrand in 2022. We wanted a brand that reflected our identity, ambition, and desire to stand out. In September, we reintroduced ourselves as Klarian.
The Klarian brand stems from the idea of clarity, the word from which our name is coined. We provide operators with the insights and the clarity they need to make optimal decisions to generate efficiencies. Our vivid colour scheme drives this point home; in a sea of blue, we unleash a spectrum of colour that evokes the insight we provide.

InfinyOn
Just one month after we rebranded, we announced our strategic technology agreement with InfinyOn, a real-time event streaming company. Recently, you may have seen a Real Time Insights article outlining how we are working together to drive innovation into the energy sector.
At the end of October, our Head of Technology joined InfinyOn at KubeKon. You can watch him explain our intelligent pipeline monitoring solution, Digipipe, and how we work with InfinyOn here.
Looking ahead to 2023
2022 was a good year but 2023 is already shaping up to be better and more impactful.
InfinyOn Webinar
Alongside InfinyOn, we are working on a joint webinar on real-time pipeline monitoring for the energy sector. Planned for mid-January 2023, the webinar will showcase the joint Klarian and InfinyOn solution. TOGC 2023
We are excited to announce that Klarian is a sponsor of the Transportation Oil & Gas Congress (TOGC) 2023 that will be held in Istanbul from the 20th to 21st of February. We will be speaking about how operators can find inner peace with technologies for profitable pipelines, such as our Digipipe solution.
Our talk will cover the importance of modern operators having a single point of truth that centralises and humanises their many data streams to provide users at any level with timely and actionable insights.
