Gartner Symposium 2017 Barcelona

The Dashboard CEO Piers Corfield, fresh from TC3 in Silicon Valley, travelled to Barcelona to attend the Gartner Symposium https://www.gartner.com/events/emea/barcelona-symposium.

Attended by 7,000 senior executives, the event attracted CIOs from some of Europe’s largest companies to hear some of the most influential speakers on key/disruptive technology trends and its impact on the world around us. The opening keynote was particularly impressive with headline themes of AI and IoT, putting people at the heart of everything with the enhanced capability of technologies underpinned by machine learning.

Whilst at the Symposium Piers took meetings with leading analysts in Oil & gas, technology and route-to-market, rubbishing shoulders with a broad spectrum of leaders focused on understanding digitsation and leveraging the change to positive effect. Gartner, in addition to being a leading commentator on technology/market trends, strives to be at the forefront of the leadership agenda and is very much in line with the ethos behind Dashboard as a company.
